Using MOD(10) the 4 doesn't change unless you MOD(10) both positions.

Two different MOD(10) uses.....the one on the right uses the last two draws or a seed number............

MOD(10) is only concerned with 0-9 in a single position. It doesn't carry to the next position.

That offset -1 to +1 can also do some prizemoney in jackpotgames like lotto or keno. There you avoid doubles, that is done by the filter.

Oh, if you're asking what the reasoning for this type play, (mostly box) draws never change more than 1 or 2 places, or a repeat.

Yes, there are exceptions but on the whole you can take a number from tonight's draw +/-1, or +/-2, and come up with a number from the next draw.

If you're looking at a 5, +1 gives you 6 and -1 gives you 4.

If you have three different numbers, +1/-1 and +/-2 give you 6 totally new numbers (that didn't hit the last draw).

This is not the working worksheet I posted several years ago. In those you posted the last draw in the blocks where the RED numbers were and the sheet automatically did the calculations. This is a recreation of how it worked.

The formulas you need are:

=MOD((A1-0),10)

=MOD((A1+0),10)

You have the change the A1 and the parameters to whatever you need.

Subtracting 1 is the same as adding 9. Subtract 1 from 0, you get 9; Add 9 to 0, you get 9.

In this chart all you have to do is enter the last draw where the red numbers are and it calculates the next play using a =MOD() formula.

For example in the first column below the red 2 we have (pretend its block A1).......

=MOD((A1-0),10)

=MOD
