How about instead, if you live in a state where you can claim anonymously (or if you don't, use LLC's and trusts to hide that you won), get it anonymously.

Then set up a trust to give out these distributions,with the condition that these people never know who set it up. If they pass on free money, that's their problem. But then they get the money, and you get zero hassle from them. They won't know it is from you, but you shouldn't care about getting a thank you from them.

She posted this exact situation before. It is not legally enforceable. The recipients could agree to waive all future claims for additional money but short of harassment or threats, they could ask for more money verbally. That is way too broad of a waiver and void for vagueness.

That's the point of the legally binding document that the giftee is NEVER allowed to ask the Lottery Winner for anymore money beyond the $100,000 gift. And really, the giftee shouldn't ever ask the Gifter for money beyond the $100,000. $100,000 is a lot of money. One big problem I could see arising from this arraignment is say the Parents getting the same amount of money as his three Best Friends and being miffed that they get exactly the same amount as his Best Friends. Ideally if you win, you shouldn't tell anybody, except perhaps hard core lottery junkies who would understand the ordeal to win.

Especially if you pick your own numbers.

What if you give 100,000 dollars to your best friend, and he uses 50,000 to hire somebody to rob you of your remaining big win money.

Better to give 1 million to mom, and tell everybody you gave her 50,000. And for her to dole it out to everybody else.

A guy said something like, If I ever win The big Lottery, I would give $100,000 each to my Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister, my Adult Son, my Adult Daughter, my Spouse, and each of my three Best friends for a combined 1 Million.
