So 20/24 momopoly dollars is a good ratio. 20/24 and 24/20. All that with a quickpick in VBA Excel and some brain use for the pen wheel.

Meanwhile they stopped a local production of beer for Russia, it doesn't pass the borders, can't get to Russia. Bourgogne des Flandres of a small brewery about mile from here. It's of good taste, I believe that they prefer it to Chimay Bleu.

Years ago I fooled around with vba function(). I think that I wrote a function that used previous lines in the list to generate the next line. It let the computer sweat a bit but did what I wanted to get of that function. If want more of it, you must code more, get better ideas. If you don't want numbers in ascending order then you code such way to get that.

Like you said, there are any number of ways to do something. I posted what I'd done on the Jackpot games, not keno.

Yes, you can use a random timer or seed number and nothing else.

If you do use a random timer the program would print out 4, 5, 6, or ever how many numbers in grouping you choose until you hit STOP!

And there are dozens of those type programs around (everywhere).

You could use the random value and make it an index number to go index to combination. In coding you can shuffle a list, and take the first x numbers, if you want to. Instead of shuffling you could refer to a list typed in cells and select ... . I forgot how to do it there. I think one way is to sort the random value next to the number. A macro can do that. Calculate, sort, pick x numbers, paste transpose values to ... . More than one way to do it.

I played around with the idea of generating 20 number sets using the back digits. Not really a random number generator in the classic sense, but close enough. The yellow blocks indicate a hit in the main draw and the red numbers indicate the bonus hit (in the 20 number set). So in theory it should work (depending on the wheel).

How do go from coin flipping to a random number?

Head=0; Tail=1.

Flip the coin 10 times, more or less.

Write in decimals to get a binary number.

The lowest value will be 0 and the highest value will be 2^flips-1.

If you flip once: values are 0 or 1. 0 to 2^1-1. Divide the value by 2^1 to get the random-value.

Using dices? Eye-1. Base 6.

You also can combine bases. You flip a coin, you roll a dice. ... Calculate!

The site random.org generates random numbers from a hardware random number generator (the numbers are derived from statistical noise of a real physical process).

There's a lot of ways to generate true random numbers without a computer. For example, if you're playing 6/49, get 49 playing cards and assign them numbers like this:
