The new comment function allows for BETTER interactivity.

It doesn't appear anyone will be needing to replace Excel anytime soon.

According to Microsoft, the change will apply to Office files that are downloaded from the internet and include macros, so Office users will no longer be able to enable certain content with a simple click of a button.

I'm not sure I totally understand your question, but here's a response for what its worth.

Do you need an alternative to Excel?

My partner in a grueling research project doesn't have Excel, I do.

She uses GOOGLE SHEETS, I upload my Excel Sheets to Google Sheets

and do a save, so she can work her part of the worksheets in the workbook.

So, If your Excel is acting cranky, do you have a Google Account?

If so, access Google Sheets, its probably the next best thing... [ More ]

O/E dist like 3 3 then say spread over 3 ranges 2 2 2 can make you win less but sometimes those 3/6's. The wheel still would be big.

So, that range thing doesn't do it as the 3 3 already is a cut. So, you had 3 low and 3 high, but your total of numbers is odd. That also doesn't work.

So, you have all those in charts and you still fail doing it right? With three large filters you still don't have result as you must narrow your picks with group filters?

my version of Lottery America in Excel. Its a little small. I like to get a real birds eye view of whats happening. I should have put arrows. Red sums are low. And Green Sums are High.

If you look closely, you can see the high sums are trending hot, and the low sums are dormant and should pop soon. sometime in June by my estimation.

I have to dig deeper.

This chart or a version of this chart would be very helpful for pool play.

Maybe if you try the sum of X divided by xbar minus 1 squared.

Take the last 100 draws put them in groups of 10,

find your frequency distribution , plot it , look for trends, have coffee break and decide this was waste of time.

Is there some reason folks don't just download the plain text or .CSV files for their favorite games straight from each States Lottery website??? Many spread-sheet apps will import these file types without issue... A little searching, sorting, formatting and Voila...

GH has a free lottery updater app... I bet there is an easy way to find and use the database files from that...

I have a chart I want to share. Its simple.

I wanted to add it to the LA website but they are defunct.

I wanted to put in SL but they are in transition

Anybody know where they went? I cant find them on FB or YT.

I imagine it can be done in excel.

Anybody use this service/chart, have success with it?

Can it be improved upon?
