Exactly. Interesting people make better interviews. News reporting 101. Perhaps the husband preferred his wife handle the interview. And she is the spouse and not some third tier backup singer.

And the ticket belongs to both.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, she looked much more interesting and full of life than he did. He just sat there looking lifeless, dull, boring while she was was energetic and seemed like a fun person.

I saw a Lottery Winners Interview where a HUSBAND bought a winning Lottery ticket worth MILLIONS. He called his Wife to tell her the good news. HER happy reaction was the one recorded, not his. 95 Percent of the interview was her being interviewed when he was the Winner. He only got about 5 percent of the interview. She got the bulk of the interview. It was weird and awkward. :/ It was the equivalent of a back up Singer getting interviewed much more than the Featured and Lead Singer....
