In all honesty, Yancy only won 1 million. Compared to People who won like 400 Million. When you only won 1 Million you tend to be much more responsible than someone who won 300 Million. With 300 Million, the money seems to be more of an ocean metaphorically. With only one Million, the money seems to be more of a pool metaphorically. A million seems much more finite than 300 Million.

My favorite Lottery Winner is a man named only Mr. Acosta. Mr. Acosta won about 565 Million before taxes and fled to an undisclosed location with his wife and kids after getting his Winnings. :) He even deleted his Social Media. :) Smart man.

I think Timothy Schultz deserves a mention. In 1999 at age 21, he won $15.9million on Powerball while working in a convenience store in Iowa. He spent the money on schooling and later started his own media company. He has interviewed several lottery winners on his YouTube channel. He also has a website and a podcast and some other entertainment related ventures and seems to have done pretty well.

Another one I think is worth mentioning is Bradley Hahn, whom Timothy Schultz has interviewed

Way back in the first year of the California Lottery a young Grocery Bagger won 5 million bucks.

There was a very young guy at the time he won a jackpot, he was in the Navy and got out because his wife wanted him to.

During an interview on one lottery program he said that when he saw a really hot car that a lot of jackpot winners would grab he looked at it and thought yo himself, I could buy that car..........I'm not going to but knowing I could is good enough for me.

My favorite Lottery Winner is Yancy Hicks, who worked at McDonald's for 26 years when he won 1 Million in the Lottery. He kept working for McDonald's even after winning the 1 million, was wise with his winnings, he paid for his Daughter's Education, bought only a couple of splurgy things, and bought his own Subway Restaurant. This man was wiser with a 1 million win than a lot of Lottery Winners winners who won much more than that, like 300 million dollar winners.
