Being someone who has been in the service industry for over 40 years, I expect good service. If I don't get get it, they don't see me again. I'll spend my money somewhere else.

I also choose my lottery store by its location to my home and the numbers in its address --- so the working people at my lottery store have become very familiar to me and I to them. We like each other. (Frequent Employee change over is bad Fung Shi)

Probability is a likelihood, as in, you are likely to hit something with a shotgun.

Not sure about sharing a jackpot with other people who just happen to be at the place you bought the ticket, and a lot of people tell clerks I'll cut you in if I win but what about playing a (duplicate set of numbers) ticker for the clerk beforehand?

I did that once for a clerk in a gas station in Indiana, we both won $110 and I'm guessing he was happier to have $110 in his hand as opposed to a big far Maybe or If I win

I used to buy The NY Post a lot when I lived in upstate New York.

As far as a source for pro sports reporting goes, The Post has some of the best sports reporters that can be found anywhere. I should add that I didn't pay as much attention to other content they published. But that's only because I wanted to get to my copy of The Wall Street Journal. G5

State Legislators or Congress should take care of this with a new law. Instead of giving the Retailer a Bonus for Selling the winning Jackpot Numbers only, they should get a percentage of every winning ticket they sell. That way they could codify the Entitlement. It is not like there isn t enough money in the game. When you only get about 40% of what they call the Jackpot there is plenty to go around. Hey Joe, for whatever it's worth in the distant Las Vegas past there was a pretty blond casino gal server who hit a sizable jack pot and never blessed anyone during, before or after and the story made the papers - causing many bad energy eyes at her by collective fellow employees +. etc.

Shortly after she took a very bad hit in her new car with her sister passenger, crash was not her fault but she was badly mangled and her sister was killed.....

If I was a regular and depending on the quality of service I had received over the years, I might send someone to give the owner a little something. But not on the order of 50K, LOL that's bananas. These people sound entitled, like they'd hound you for every last cent.

I've never sold a lottery ticket in my life, but I agree.

Years ago a $250,00 MM winning ticket was sold in a store in the town that I used to live in. About six months after the ticket was sold (and the prize was claimed) I asked the guy behind the counter if they knew who bought it. No. We dont know who bought it was his answer.

I always bought a scratch off for the cashier when winning even a small amount around so I know I would give more if I won a large jackpot. There are two types of people in this world. givers or takers. Blessed are the ones that can give.

When I sold tix for MM or PB jackpots that were high, there were 2 or 3 that told me if they won they would come back and give me $100 or some tip. Frankly, I didn't believe that and didn't give it another thought. And to expect a winner to come back and tip the clerk that pushed a button or ran a playslip on a terminal is rather absurd.

Nope. This idea that people deserve a 'tip'/'blessing' is what's wrong with workers these day. When you're playing everyday and losing, nobody is there to give you a handout. All of a sudden because you win people 'expect' something from you.
