No secret the probability Spandex Draws uses is, This number will probably hit. This one probably won't.

Also no secret if anyone gave him the winning numbers he'd say, Buy me a ticket.

As I said, I haven't given it much thought. So my initial thoughts is once I start seeing frequent repeats, 4 to 5 out of every ten draws it probably time. As it is, 1 to 2 every 10 - 15 draws means I'm getting 9 new sets a week, or 13 new sets every 3 draws. At this point, the odds favor new sets.

That's just me and my thinking. I can imagine some people would say if you haven't seen a repeat in two to three draws, it's time to start looking for one. I'd say, Do it!

I see your point.

Maybe you should try looking at previous draws from about 10 years back and play some of them. You've been rejecting them but actually found a set that repeated. At a 104 draws a year there's been just over 1000 draws out of a possible 52,360 combinations.

The same 4 numbers drawn 10 years apart. Is there a law that says it's impossible for a set of numbers to be drawn more than once?

Especially when one of the sets are drawn in a test draw?

There are 52,360 combinations in a 35 number set (not including the bonus ball).

Now if it happened on a game like Lotto, it would be really rare considering the odds of that game (and maybe it has).

Random is random.

Those type data are used to eliminate combinations. General rule, don't play combinations that have already hit.

At some point you have to re-enter them into the pool, but that point remains to be seen.

At this point I'm just letting things fall in place without trying to contrive a use.

Nope. I avoid any sets that have already hit more than once. That's a feeling.

We did have a set that hit for the third time couple of draws back in the pre-tests.

I should look to see how many have hit in the live draw vs pre-tests at some point and how many live draws have repeated in the pre-tests.

It wouldn't be proof. But its the best thing we have.

The universe is also fickle. They'll throw you a bone now and again, and as soon as you rely on them, they'll change their mind.

And it's just as likely it's a one off, or a coincidence as it is the product of anything else.

Ima masochist? Glutton for punishment, maybe? But I'm one of those people who include the pre-tests in my files. Only about 10% of the first 4, have repeated and those are generally years apart with the exception of a very few. So knowing the pre-tests helps eliminate low probability sets.

Or maybe the lottery is punishing me for all the crap I talk about Twitch-eye?

Yeah, they knew I was going to play that set until it hit, so they took it out of my hand!

Didn't win so I held that number in my pocket for the next big draw.
