MegaMillions website blocked by Chrome

Whatever the reason Megamillions website was blocked for being dangerous has been rectified.

When I opened the site today, I didn't get the red warning screen and the site opened normally.

I have written to both Megamillions and the New York State Lottery and have yet to receive a response from either.

Happened to me a few nights back (probably late Friday or early Saturday) with Firefox. You shouldn't see the warning again if you click through to the site, but here's the warning message thanks to another profile that I haven't used to visit megamillions.com:

Firefox blocked this page because it might try to trick you into installing programs that harm your browsing experience (for example, by changing your homepage or showing extra ads on sites you visit).

The same thing happens with financials and stuff because everybody's on the Internet and there's hackers and scammers then I'll try to get peoples information for someway some reason

just tried with firefox and it also blocks it. Edge is fine.

Chrome gets to it but Firefox gives me a warning.

Tried it just now on my laptop (same browser) it's blocked, the mobile app for chrome, MM site works though

WORKED OK for me with windows 10 and Microsoft Edge and an ad blocker.....Whoa,didn't realize it was up to $153/$86 Cash.... Good luck folks

just loaded the site a min ago with edge browser without any issues

Might've been a brief encounter with what I've heard called scare-ware

that happens to me every once in a while

Tonight I went to check MegaMillions and when I clicked on the site the monitor turned red and said

The site ahead contains harmful programs

Attackers on megamillions.com might attempt to trick you into installing programs that harm your browsing experience (for example, by changing your homepage or showing extra ads on sites you visit).

Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Does anyone know why Chrome would think the site was dangerous
