It depended upon where you were located in Florida as to whether or not you could buy a ticket the day after Ian hit southwest Florida.

I went to buy a ticket the day after the storm (30 miles south of Tampa on The West Coast) but couldn't buy it because the communication lines were down. Other than Fort Myers/Naples area, lottery tickets were pretty much available.

I live in the Southeast of Florida. The only thing we really got was one day of really heavy rain and wind. The West of Florida's got really abused by Ian however. The Southeast of Florida was really lucky.

Florida got mangled. SKY DADDY has spoken. America must be punished!!

I mean it cant be weather warfare or HAARP.

But we should pray for GREENFOX too and all the people in NC tonite. It looks like he might be a GREENWETFOX...

This storm is real Behemoth, and I could be wrong, but it seems slow moving.

Y'all remember Hurrican Mitch? It stalled off the coast of South America many years ago and just drownd and killled so many people with mudslides.

Checking in from an hour north of Richmond VA

strangely enough a bit of minor spill over, but the city of F-burg did close local river side park

but I doubt we'll get more then a severe spritzing if even that

I lived in Fort Myers before I came back to California last year. I just can't imagine my car floating away from in front of the house I was living in.

With all the wind and rain from when Ian hit land, now there are tornado warnings until 10 PM tonight from Myrtle Beach north to Virginia Beach.

And apparently Ian became a hurricane again in the Atlantic Ocean and his heading towards the Carolinas. One of the worst if not the worst storm ever.
