Yeah, that would be the way to go. Have a state convention in the summer, in the fall have a regional and then a national convention the following spring. Or maybe just state and national.

We're talking a lot of people organizing and getting involved promoting the events, all pointing to the national convention. It would also help the national gauge the interest level, the available vendors and possible participating state lottery commissions. Everybody at the national level wants a crowd... [ More ]

Many years ago the Ohio Lottery held something similar for their lottery retailers and invited people selling lottery related products. Meeting the real people behind the ideas we read on LP would be fun. Most lottery winners buy QPs and scratch-offs so it's not like there is anything I'd expect them to share.

Unfortunatley for international lottery players, they are required to take the Fauci Ouchie Quackcine Clot shot sauce to come via airplane, so your best bet will be to fly to mexico and then come through the wide open southern border.

Sounds like a fun idea. I know we've kicked it around on the forums a few years back. The problems tend to be that conventions are a tremendous effort to put together, and I was never able to determine what the actual interest level would be. It's expensive to do, so if turned out to have weak attendance it would lose a lot of money.

Todd should organize a Lottery convention in NJ. Id love to see all the players, website owners, gurus, goats, come together for a day or 2 of nothing but lottery. I nominate Atlantic City as the location.

Id love to see Todd, Mike K ( Pick34) , snip , Winnersonlylotto, Lottery Fenom, Arthur Lomax Jr, Spaceship Lady and all the other Lotto Heads come together. It would be Epic.
