$25 Silver Spectacular back in 2014 I hit $5000, i think theres a pic in the other scratch offs thread on here somewhere. I also managed to hit $1700 on a $2 ticket back in 2008, some kind of 7's ticket it was. I rarely see any good NY claimers on youtube, ive seen some $2k winners before.

Thank you very much for sharing your story too cjs811, i can tell it was a happy moment. I scratch in my car often too i guess its common, of course i scratch with it locked id like to meet a person who doesn't .

I'd be distracted too driving after finding a big win. I'm sure your son would be more worried about you if anything happened but its good he knows about your big win. Hope you keep getting big wins

I scratched mine in my car with my doors locked. I saw the coin -thinking yay at least I got my money back. When I revealed all those zeros I kept moving the ticket back and forth saying are you kidding me! I called my son and told him that if I crashed on the way home to look for the ticket--lol.
