Over the years there's been half a dozen neural networks made for lottery, most around twenty years ago, never amounted to anything. Joe Hicks with GH looked at one made to work with the old GH database, not worth including in the software package. I tested one made for Pick-3, danced all around the winning numbers without picking them.

There are artificial neural networks which have been created to predict pseudo random numbers. Haven't tested any such a.n.n., but hope to find one in the Python programming language which can be used or modified for lotteries with computer draws.

Write a simple PRNG and put it in a loop, add a new seed for each number set it generates.

If the correct set comes up save the seed value, move to the next set and repeat the process.

Keep doing this until the PRNG has hit every past game. Next take all the seeds and see if

you can figure out the sequence. This would give you the seed for the next drawing.

Have fun play a few thousand rounds while you wait.

P.S. make sure you have the draw order, you need to match that too.

But what about the people running the lotteries that love it when we look for consistency by their design are not there? Will it break their hearts if players stop looking for consistency or worse yet, if they actually find them?

Because they pay less than 50 cents for each winning $1 ticket why would they care if players actually find consistency in their random drawings?

Is there any other games of chance where over time the house profits $500 K for every $1 million in wagers?

To crack a code, there has to be something hidden within the code, a message, formula, whatever. The lottery results do not hide a message, there is no hidden formula waiting to be found. If there was, it would likely be, Ha ha, you lose again.

Just proves that otherwise smart people can believe the dumbest things. Like kids who believe there is a monster under the bed. But did they look to see? No!

That's most of today's society due to social media. They draw conclusions about complex problems based on half truths or half lies without hearing the other side or considering how what they do not know could change their perception. If it confirms what they personally believe all the better.

It is not random, it is pseudo-random, I think the lottery depends on the last draw to generate the new numbers.

I don't disagree with your point of it being insanely irresponsible, to determine one set from another. But I'm not against a simple, quick test to determine if what he thinks is true.

And if you believe the lottery is generating the latest draw from the last draw you could simply determine how they got from one draw to the next and go from there. (Keep records and see if there is a pattern)

You could use the SEARCH function.

Couple of things though....

1. You have to know if your game is using a pseudo random number generator (PRNG) or a true random number generator (TRNG).

2. The Eddie Tipton mess proved the need for some changes and I'm not sure anyone knows what changes were made. Even if you look at his defense it doesn't help. If anyone reverse-engineered a PRNG lottery to accurately predict future drawings, they wouldn't tell strangers on the internet. It might be possible, but the only ones who know for sure are the ones who've done it.
