Richmond removes it'last last Confederate monument and subsequent interment,

The city of Richmomd it's city owned Confederate Monday more than two years after it began to purge itself historical oppression.

It took just minutes to free the statue of General A.P. Hill fron it's base before a crane using yellow straps looped over the statue's arms lifted on to a flatbed truck.

During this wasteful Tragic War, Union Forces led by Maj. Gen;Tecumseh Sherman began his destructive 'march to the sea' from Atlanta , the scorch earth campaign ended with the capture and destruction of Savannah on December 21st.
