You could do a test over several months to see if there is a clear bias. Buy the exact same types of scratchers in the same quantities on the same days and see which store yields more $$$.

Makes sense, I just find it too much of a coincidence that I've only won off one scratcher despite the numerous ones I've bought at this store, yet I regularly go to another store (i have 2 favs) and regularly win with fewer tickets.

Oh yeah it's definitely possible that state lotteries seed certain stores with big winners among the rolls of scratchers they distribute. I have long suspected that the distribution of winning scratch offs is not random. It's all too easy for the state lottery to engineer the distribution of winning scratchers in a way that they can't do with draw games, and why wouldn't they exercise that level of control when they have the capability? Yes, I check the app both sets had 1 prize left, even though that's low I still buy them because I've won $60-$150 multiple times on just a couple of tickets with the same one (at a different store). Maybe I'm being superstitious but I just have better luck at a specific store and won't chance it anymore.

That is interesting. When it comes to scratchers, one thing I do is check the lottery app I have on my phone to see which scratchers have the most winners left and try to concentrate on those. If a ticket doesn't have many winners left, no point in trying it in my opinion.

I did once buy 10 tickets in a row and had no winners, so I guess it's not unusual.

Well I bought 11 of the same ticket and 9 of a different ticket. Only one winner when the odds were 1 in 3.52 but I just won't go to that store anymore because I witnessed others not winning on a string of scratchers too. Thanks for the reply

Today I bought 10 $1 tickets and 5 $2 tickets and the results were so so.

There were no winners on the $2 and all we won on the $1 tickets was $4 and a free ticket.

I bought these tickets at the same store where I bought $40 and worth (10 $1, 5 $2, and 4 $5) scratchers and won $77.

I'm not sure if some stores are luckier than others.

Today I had a small winning scratcher and was near a convenience store that I could run in easily without the crowds of the usual places I go to.
