I believe if you download it you can open it in Google Sheets which is free and you can save as such there. Thats if you think you may want to have a peek at it. I probably should of done I quick video explaining how to use it. I suppose it could be a tricky if you are not familiar with Excel or Google Sheets.

I no longer have Excel and I am not the most computer savvy person, but your strategy looks very interesting.

I primarily play straight numbers, but playing boxed appears safer.

I've lost many a hit because I didn't play in the box.

I am now a Platinum member and for the first time, I tried the deflate tool.

It can do everything I needed and more!

I tried it out yesterday and what it does is amazing!

Hi Lotterologist,

I think I might have something you can use. Its not a program, but an excel worksheet that I designed to use as a filter for the Pick 3 game. I use it all the time.

For instance, todays midday number in Ohio was 376---more than half the time each month a number that came out in the midday will show up again in the night draw. I typically wait to play for when I think that won't happen---so I use the filter to take out the 3 6 and 7 for all three positions in my filter.... [ More ]

Has anyone noticed that alot of the lottery software out there is written in vb and .net? I think it might be due to using excel as a test sand box and vb or . Net for the final product. Not saying that those languages should be used but that might be why of the software I have seen is written in vb or . Net for easier translation from excel to actual software.

Yes! The Pick 3 Deflate Tool under Systems will do that for you. However, you will have to upgrade your membership to use it. As a standard member, you get a free trial period of 20 uses before the system is locked.

This only takes a few columns in Excel

Column A containing all 1000 Combinations can be created with a simple +1 Formula. (you can format the combinations to show leading 0 values to make it look better.

A Box (Range of cells} containing the numbers to be eliminated

Column B use the formula IF(Countif(Range of Cells,A1)=1, ,A1) If the number in A1 is in the Box the cell is blank. If not the Number appears.

To Condense the list use the formula Small($B$1:$B$1000, A1) in Column C.

I do a lot of programming in Python and Sage for math applications. With Python, you need to pass the Pick 3 combos as strings in order to preserve the leading 0. I would do something like this to first generate a list of all the combos and store it as the variable named P3:

P3 = []

for i in range(1000):

p = str(i)

while len(p) 3:

p = 0 + p

P3.append(p)

Yes, it appears to be a simple task but i'm having difficulty. I checked out Excel spreadsheets and was totally confused by it. I studied BASIC programming many years ago so i'm vaguely familiar with flowcharts. It appears to be an input, remove, and print output program to me. I'm trying out a program that's new to me called PYTHON. I had a problem using 3 digit combinations with PYTHON because it won't accept combinations with a zero as the leading digit. The functionality you're asking for is so basic I doubt anyone has created a commercial program that solely removes items from a list and outputs the new shortened list. This is a task you could easily accomplish with your own spreadsheets.

Let's say that I input 123 , 234 , 345 , and 456 to be removed from the total number of combinations(1000). The output should be 996 straight 3 digit combinations minus the 123, 234, 345, and 456 that were removed.

Is there a lottery program that can do that

I just looked at the Positional Wheel Generator and didn't see where I could input a list of straight 3 digit combinations to be removed from the total number of straight 3 digit combinations (1000). Perhaps I am missing something here
