I'm leaning toward using some stuff to track and reduce the pairs.

It's doable with some editing and new code.

I found an older external drive with (a lot) more files.

The USB is wobbly so it's in and out. May hot glue the connector so I can see what all is there.

Yeah, well I quit doing Pick 3 stuff in general. The only Pick 3 file I have access to is Texas and we can see the actual Texas result is not all that different than the random 100000. Our random group is 0.22% higher at LLM group while Texas is 0.21% higher in the MMH group. But everything is within 2% of the random file.

Not having the data files keeps me from getting lost in Pick 3 stats.

ok garyo 1954 , great work on statistics, note the following= a single statistic doesn't do much, but when you cross for example with the sum it reduces a lot=

example in pick3

273= sum 12 , delta 1.4 with only two crossed or combined filters reduces a lot of games, but we have to cross with much more statistics in order to reduce games

If you are wondering why the VVV to HHH chart is important, I ran 100,000 random Pick 3 sets and counted where they hit.

Can't promise that outcome for every game, but 100,000 draws should give us some legit data.

These is an archived post on Pick 3 Signatures. Last I read it, there were no charts.

May not have been the original post.

So I recreated as much as I could from what was written.

If you break the 220 down it looks like this....

VLMH = V (very low) = 0 and 1

L (Low) = 2 and 3 and 4

M (Mid) = 5 and 6 and 7

H (High) = 8 and 9

The way it is you can see the four sets contain no doubles.

You can call them as you like, inside, outside, upside down, curly... [ More ]

Now you say..... I'm referring to the pick 3 game

Pick 3 game don't often produce ascending sets. You have sets like 123, but you also have 321, 895, 473, 734, etc.

Considering that outcome you'll have sets of 0,0 (all triples).

The others will result in a negative/negative; negative/positive; positive/negative; or positive/positive value.

1-8=7 and 8-5=3 so 7.3 x axis

by columns deltas=3 ,3,4 y axis

how can we combine the delta values in row 7,3 with the delta values in column 3,3,4y?

how to find a way to filter by combining the two axes = x,y

Not enough information to make an educated guess.

First, we need to know if you are calling your jump a series of numbers, Like 0,0,1 (for a four ball game), or is it the total of the series, 1 in the case?

That makes a difference in where the sets fall.

If I chart the total 1 for a 435 it looks like this....

We get a bunch of tetris looking critters but it doesn't show which results are 1,0,0, which are 0,1,0, and which are 0,0,1. (Cool looking chart though, right
