Well, it's not for nothing that they've been saying Beware the Ides of March for 2000 years, eh?

I'm disappointed. I do think it's ironic that the Night number, 307 was a combo of the Day number, 370, but no excuses. It just didn't happen tonight.

Seriously, this was easily the most interesting workup I'd found in a very long time and I'm not sorry to have seen it through to the bitter end. I hope you all enjoyed following it.

I hoped that sleep would bring some clarity if not inspiration. Not a great lot of either, I'm afraid. My final thought is, if I had this to do again, I wouldn't change a thing. I would buy a fifty-cent Day and Night Combo ticket on 349 for today and sit tight. If we hadn't gotten that second Date workup hit yesterday, I would have thought about upping the wager to a dollar Day and Night Combo, but I'm taking a step back from that because there is no precedent for a Date workup hit three days ap... Holy Smokes!!! That 367 that fell tonight was a straight Date workup hit. Goodness gracious. I don't have a clue what to say. If you go strictly by the chart, the next day is prime territory for a second Date workup hit, but we now we've just had two straight Date workup hits three days apart. Is it too much to ask for a third? That is a tough call, really tough call. You know that TV commercial where the street prophet says, The Clues Are All Around Us!

My long experience with Pick 3 has led me to conclude that, The Red Herrings Are ALSO All Around Us!

As I said above, with workups like this one, it's common for them to just fizzle out before the target date. However, this workup keeps throwing sparks as we gallop down the home stretch. Here is yesterday's example:

Frequently, after I post the setup, these workups fizzle out on the way to the target date, but this one has hit every milestone I've set and then some. As far as I'm concerned, Wednesday the 15th is a go.

Okay, today is officially crunch time for this workup. Here is what I posted before:

P.P.S Date Workup hits have been hard to come by lately. The last one was way back on January 28th. I highly recommend keeping an eye on those to see if one or two of them fall before the 15th. I don't like the idea of chasing lone Date Workup hits. That's a losing play.
