Just looked at the numbers for the last couple of years. On a per-drawing basis, MM is faster. On a per-week basis, they're pretty similar, with PB maybe having a very slight edge sometimes.

Last summer, MM was won on July 29. Nine weeks later, on September 30, it was at 355M. PB was won on August 3. Nine weeks later, on October 5, it was at 354.4M.

I have seen a little discussion in the past about which jackpot grows faster. Well both are at $20 Million so we should get a firm answer this time around. My money is on Power Ball.
