You can get special liability insurance to protect you from such lawsuits. I assume it costs a decent amount of money but might be worth it if you won millions.

Not that it would have helped (possibly) in the Shakespeare case but this is a prime example why EVRY state should allow the winner of any lottery amount the opportunity to remain anonymous.

I live in 1 of 10 states that does not afford the winner of a lottery any opportunity to remain anonymous. The state lottery will print your name and city where you live. I'm retired from law enforcement and can't imagine the the lawsuits that would come out of the woodwork if it was announced that I won... [ More ]

Lol lol. I am sure Tasha is out at the casinos spending her future pb jackpot win.

They did help in the original investigation and were given credit by a police detective. They helped focus things on DeeDee and found records showing Abraham's property had been transferred to her, etc. The detective said he was using a subpoena to get info and seemed surprised it was online.

2023 series. Web of Death. It focuses on internet sleuths and there is a lot of new info (New to me) I did not know about his life and the investigation.

Very interesting
