There was a time I bought 5 lines on different tickets.

I was amazed that the time stamp in some tickets was 3 minutes apart.

Like the time stamp on one is 18:21:39 and 18:24:46 in another and they all got printed in a span of less than 30 seconds.

All the five tickets had different time stamps of atleast a minute apart.

I found that intriguing.

This is definitely a new definition of Not putting all your eggs in one basket lol.

Sometimes I ask myself, is what am doing really a strategy, is it just my mind playing tricks on me or am I taking this a little too far.

If I applied the strategy of $60 and split it $10 a store. If someone happens to win in one of the stores that bought $10 worth of tickets. I would wonder what if I spent the whole $60 in that store, maybe that ticket would have fallen on my lot. Again the mind playing

That is good to know. I have always responded let's save trees and have them all on one ticket

I don't think I would want to put myself in a situation when am buying same game tickets for myself and for another person - I would wonder which one would win lol.

But it am buying MM and someone sends me PB them that's ok. But if we all want MM - ooh no that's tricky.

Don't know if that theory of separate tickets holds water, but what is more important is getting tickets from different locations. The main servers download firmware to each terminal and when those terminals put a request in for a quick pick your numbers given are based on the algorithm assigned to that particular terminal. For me personally and if I were to spend let's say $60 on Mega, I would spend $10 at different stores. I would split the stores 3 gas stations and 3 no name smokeshop/conveni... [ More ]

When buying multiple Quick Pick tickets for the same draw.

Example is you want to buy five tickets for the upcoming MM Friday draw.

Is there any significant difference in how the numbers get picked if you have them all printed on the same ticket or if you opt to have each ticket on it own.

Every time I buy say 5 tickets. The vendor always asks me

Do you want them all on one ticket or separate tickets?

I have always wondered if in the grand scheme of things it matters.
