Not really,my system enables you play like trading at the stock exchange;you will .select 6 different games of the same type and track from the world which is the higher end to the shape which is at the lower end; the shape can be broken down into various ramifications giving you a wheel that is smaller.

The magic happens when the 6 games selected vary from one world and more interestingly from one shape to the other...

There is a good chance you are being cheated. I would stop payment immediately.

Group play is way better than individual play when the jackpots are larger than anyone can easily spend in a lifetime. Most of that advantage goes away when you pay a commercial company to join a group. I strongly advise against it.

I am a member of this group Lottolishus for a long time, their website is inaccessible nowadays and I don't know if they are still in business for their members or they are in the business of making off members' money for themselves. I still get being charged monthly but could not get into their website to let them know I wanted out of this group. No way I could get my earned winnings and I do not know if I can. Probably cut my losses and call my credit company to stop the charges.

Many years ago (in the days of Lotto 6/49 in California) syndicates would send runners with batches of filled out play slips to lottery retailers in an attempt to cover the spread when the jackpot exceeded 60M or so (IIRC).

It's one HELL of a logistical lift (especially using the lottery equipment of the day).

I don't believe (and I could be wrong - but don't think so) anyone was ever successful. The kicker is even if you cover the spread - chances are pretty good at those wage... [ More ]

Mario's lottery groups is playing the Lotto 649 game on Saturday. He reports the expected value for the draw will be over 150%. That is a higher expected value of any draw I have ever seen. Even when the Powerball draw gets over $1 billion, it never has an expected value that high.

I plan on joining the group. I may even buy extra shares.

Back when I was doing this, it was $4 a payday which for us was every two weeks. With the whole group, I was able to buy Powerball, Lotto, and Megamillions when that became available here for 4 drawings each. We never won a jackpot though, but it was fun.

Coworkers are usually the easiest to organize with because you see them consistently. But lots of people are retired or self-employed, or just don't have a lot of interaction with many coworkers due to the nature of their job. Sounds like you were conscientious with the scanning. I had a pool with coworkers for a time. Every payday we'd buy a mix of Powerball, MegaMillions, and Lotto tickets for the upcoming drawings. I would also send a PDF scan of the tickets to all the members.

Won some small prizes, but never a jackpot. Just wasn't to be.

Do you have extended family who like to play the lottery as much as you do? Maybe you can organize a lottery pool with a motley crew of sibs, cousins, aunts, uncles, and whatnot. Or what about a neighborhood pool? I knew someone who lived in a small apt building with no more than a dozen units, the tenants would pool for big jackpots about once a year.

Here is a good example of how beneficial syndicate play can be.

Using the recent huge Mega Millions jackpot, say there are 100 people in a syndicate, each paying $20 each. In total, the syndicate has $2,000, enough to buy 1,000 Mega Millions tickets.

This results in odds of approximately 1 in 300,000 of each person in the syndicate winning $7.8 million. There is no game on earth where an individual can spend $20 on their own and have odds of 1 in 300,000 of winning that much money.

A serious lottery pool should have rules and not just a gentleman agreement they should be written in black and white.

It's always best to make copies of the tickets before the draws and share them with members so everyone is looking out for the winner.

The rule of thumb is if you don't feel comfortable with the processes, you can just bail out and play solo.

I think you are getting a little mixed up.

The 36 second prize winners each got 1M because each bought their own ticket. So there were 36 tickets that had the same numbers.

In a lottery pool of say 10 people. You won't buy 10 duplicate tickets for each member. So if in your collection of tickets one wins the second prize. They won't ask you how many you are so that each gets their own 1M.

check out 7/19/23 There were 36 2nd. place winners spread over 16 states. They each got 1 million.

there were 3 2nd place winners in Massachusetts, Jane Busby is one of them, here she is displaying her 1 million dollar check

I came up with this, these syndicates should have bylaws that each member needs to sign or something that clearly says top prizes will be shared evenly among *members who participated in the drawing* This should keep everybody honest. I think the best approach is to invest back any winnings that are not reasonable.

If you win $1000 there is no point in dividing that out.

But if you win $50K, then $5K per person is not a bad place to start. It's a good motivation to keep people psyched up.

I wouldn't join a syndicate that plays just the jackpot knowing from the start that the odds are clearly against us. I would gladly join a syndicate that plays the multipliers.

I would never join a pool that insisted on buying multipliers or addons. For me the only point of pooling is to increase my probability of winning a share of the jackpot, so all the pooled funds should be spent on buying as many unique combinations as possible. A second tier prize split among 10-20 poolmates isn't going to change my quality of life significantly. To each their own.

If I was in an office of let's say 10 people.

We could each give $100 a month.

That's $1,000 total.

Then we would only play Megamillions because with the multiplier we could earn up to 5M on second tier prize.

So two draws a week - 8 draws a month.

$1,000 divided by $3 (cost of ticket with multiplier) we get 333.3 tickets a month.

Divide the 333.3 with 8 draws, that gives us 41.6.

If they buy just the $2 with no powerplay or double chance if available, then that 20*2 = $40 every draw.

I would be interested to know how many members are in the syndicate and how much they contribute.

Based on the posted rules, the answer to both questions is yes.

The number of tickets bought and copies of the tickets are posted before the draw.

Members can buy as many shares as they want and prizes are divided based on the number of shares bought.

I've participated in a few others with similar results. These were all people I knew and worked with so I had no real concerns.

Not sure I trust one of these online pools though, but the choice is yours.

I have joined the US based pools and have asked the organizer how it works. The US tickets are bought by a US resident and held in the US. Apparently, as far as I could tell, this is legitimate.

For me, I am willing to take the chance. The only way to overcome odds of 1 in 300 million to win.

lottoman626, I see from your profile you live in the US. Just a heads up, Mario's Lottery Groups is based in Canada. If you join lottery pools through that site, your groups tickets will be held by a person outside the US. That's fine if you want to play Canadian games for some reason, but unwise for several reasons if you are pooling to play US games. It's safer to join a pool whose organizer lives in the same country and only organizes in-country lottery pools.

There is one I have had good luck with. The syndicate plays a variety of games in the US, Canada and Britain. I do not think I can post links but the syndicate is easy to find with a search. Search for mario's lottery groups.
