Yep, your right... When I was a child I did play with an IBM 360 Fortran Cobol by punch cards and APL on IBM 2741... Well, more like a teen in jr collage... Build my first personal computer in 77... Assembler, Basic and Pascal... Worked in the industry as an analyst for 40+ years... And the rest, as they say, is history...

I would argue that the 48 straight hits are spread across multiple states and one can't be in all those states at once to play.

The total pool of numbers is around 600 sets. There are 12 in a row and 50 rows.

So if out of the 600 sets of pick 3 only one hits for a particular states drawing. That's not predicting - that's just luck.

I need to be convinced more - as far as am concerned that is just luck.

If someone can give me five sets of pick 3 and two are drawn for the mid day a... [ More ]

Tells me which numbers WILL BE PLAYED for a state

Please speak for yourself... I may be dyslexic and I have written an app that reads past drawing history, creates a 10 draw set of 6 numbers, writes them to a file, prints to a lotto drawing ticket... Later after the drawing my app reads the current winning drawing from the web and matches to the above file and displays any matches/winners... Also updates the drawing history with the current drawing... Got to eat some red meat and fish along with those vegetables...

I may not be aware of all the systems that people are using our there to try and win the jackpots.

But from my own reasoning and rational thinking, faulty thou it may be, my mind tells me that if those systems did actually work, then we would have quite a lot of winners out there.

Atleast we would have 5 to 10 second tier prize winners every so often, but that is not the case.

For those of us developing or using systems, analysis post draw is part of the process. I agree about over analysis the way you described, but reviewing the result might cause you to calibrate some setting differently than you would have before the draw, so there is inherent value in the process.

Analyzing? No. I only to open a file to know that 2,6,8,16 is the 7416 combination in a 435.

It's a 317 number of which there are only 22. And it's only the 3rd of those drawn in over 11600 plus draws and it's the only all even drawn. The other winners were all odd.

Some might call it a 428. Or a 423. Or a 23.

It's front digit pattern is 3100 or 0001. It's sum is 32.

I think if anything else worked (mystical, math, visualization, manifesting, astrology, dreams, cracking the codes, and all that) we would be having jackpot winners every draw. Those jackpots would never get past 20M.

I have noticed that there is a tendency for the brain to play tricks on you after every lottery drawing.

When you analyze the numbers after the drawing , the mind always tries to see patterns in the numbers.

For instance you realize all the numbers are divisible by two. Or maybe if you sum up, divide, multiply or subtract different birth dates in your family you could come up with the numbers drawn.
