This is the 539 plotted in the same manner as the 435 last year. It is reduced to fit the laptop screen. Reduced to include the whole chart, you wouldn't be able to read the results.

hello DB101!you are right in your observation of the median, it can be vertical position by position and also through neighboring positions, that is, columns and rows as in the Cartezian point

Comparing 2 or 3 similar large number lotto games like Mega and PB for a check of one's picks might be useful if hoping for a 4/5 or 5-0 win. For example, I checked last night's PB winner against the PB database and Mega database using the Delaware app for that and saw that the PB winning numbers had only produced one draw in the past with at best a 3/5. A vertical line goes up and down (column), and a horizontal line goes across (row)... Think time series data... What is the medium of each column... Using one standard deviation of each column might be more interesting... Playing in or out of one standard deviation might be fun...

Looking at it from a coding perspective, you can think of the pick 3 as a game object type.

What it has is a history and rules for each position (digits 0-9)

Something specific like the PA pick 3 Mid Day would be an instance of the pick 3 object.

Adding data from other instances (like the Florida pick 3 evening game) will not help with the study of the results for the PA game, just like PA mid history and PA eve history are not related outside of being separate instances of the same

Global statistics detect the existence of a spatial structure in the data. Local statistics complement the global statistics by identifying where the spatial structures are!

FYI: Statistics is the study of Data Collection, Analysis, Interpretation, Presentation, and organizing in a specific way.

OK thanks for clarifying. I dont know where to find Brazil Pick 3 results so I'm just going to use Texas as an example because they have 4 draws a day, and your first post said world statistics. Yesterday's results were

177 -- median 7

122 -- median 2

599 -- median 9

514 -- median 4

The median of the medians {2, 4, 7, 9} is 5.5 using 5th grade math. How would that help anyone predict the next Pick 3 draw in Texas? Don't know. Maybe you can cross them. Good luck.... [ More ]

Not 100% positive because of the translation, but it sure looks like IMO the Dr. is asking about comparing and/or statistics from different games. Similar to when PB and MM made matrix changes. And I'm pretty sure using data from when MM was a 5/46 + 1/46 would change the play.

When I reread your question it's muddled what you are asking and what you want to know. Depending on how you use that chart it could change your predictions. But you're question doesn't ask that..

You should ask what you really want to know for a solid answer.

Depends on what you mean by crossing patterns and how you set it up. And to a big extent the data you're crossing, data used, and what you are trying to find.

Using the data properly will not change your predictions. Most likely it will pinpoint locations you should keep an eye on.

There is a series of steps I go through that might be considered the long route but it achieves it's purpose and allows me to understand where and why the data comes from and why it's important.

Lottery post has an easy to use tool called the Inspector 3 and by clicking on results , Daily Number Games , Advanced tools and options , and then you can inspect all Pick 3 results shown . I believe the any country tab is set by default but can be changed to U.S. or Canada only. Not sure if access requires premium membership, but if that's what you're looking for, it's well worth the $8 bucks.
