I don't know squat about this 1224. Never done anything on it, with it, or about it. I ignored it. That's what I did.

Yeah, it is a daily game, drawn four times a day, at $2 a combination. Like Pick 3 and Pick 4 only it costs more.

But since my secret Santa days are done, and it was a good question, I thought I'd look at it. Still have some leather work to do but if I'm going to be lazy I have to be doing something .

Maybe his 1525 pays better. Maybe it's cheaper.

For what it's worth (maybe nothing), I played Pick3 around 20 years ago before it went to 4 draws a day. I did well on it by playing 1 number to repeat (123 played previously, I would pick one digit) from the previous draw and play it with 2 others boxed for $5, sometimes $10. I hit several times, once for $400. Alas, Texas got greedy and went to 4 draws a day.

I also did well on AoL. I hit for $250 on it ($50 x 5), and often won $50.

My beef with AoL is you can't play multiple days pl... [ More ]

In the chart above we see that every number is equally represented (1961256 hits each) and each is limited in what positions it can occupy when we're looking at lowest to highest number, as they are printed on the ticket.

And we can see which numbers hit the most in which positions.

In the end, your question of binomial distribution says the numbers all the numbers should appear in two draws at minimum. 15 in 25....sounds right, but not likely to happen in reality. That's when you turn to the results to see how perfect world compares to what's happening world.

So let's consider a different distribution. What numbers can hit in which positions, like this.....

What is binomial distribution with example?

The variable 'n' states the number of times the experiment runs and the variable 'p' tells the probability of any one outcome. Suppose a die is thrown randomly 10 times, then the probability of getting 2 for anyone throw is . When you throw the dice 10 times, you have a binomial distribution of n = 10 and p = .

https://byjus.com/maths/binomial-distribution/#:~:text=The%20variable%20'n'%20states%20the,%3D%2010%20and%20p%20%3D%20%E2%85%99.... [ More ]
