I wouldn't spend A PENNY of the money ! Id take it to a bank and get the biggest loan I could get , use the loan to buy an apartment complex have the renters pay back the loan ! Id then have a massive income and could do anything at that point . So, with the INCOME I'd have from the large apartment complex id THEN buy a home. The home I live in and my lifestyle at that point would be 100% paid for and not from the winnings. I also wouldn't give a penny to scams , I mean charity .

There's no guarantee buying more lottery tickets will win you anything.

If I won say up to $1 mil I wouldn't buy like 1,000-2,000 extra tickets every draw banking on a win.

I'd buy maybe 20 - 30 extra tickets max . The odds to win the big one never change.

You could go broke a lot sooner than you expected otherwise.

When I was younger I was in it to win it. As you get older you realize that throwing more money at the lottery is not getting you closer. I've played continuously, played on certain days, pared my plays, and now play when I feel like it.

I see more money to spend on other things now. Like I'll buy lunch for me, and my nurse with the money that would otherwise go to the lottery. And I get more smiles, thank yous and hugs (a few pecks on the cheek that don't hurt a bit) than i ever got from b... [ More ]

I agree, screw the non profits. they're all the same.

Pay the bills off, get more inventory, resell, ship out items, help my mom pay the house off, see what has to be done. Renovate current home to come back to

I would definitely not buy a house, I want to be very mobile, I would want to be able to move from one state or location to another at a moments notice.

BTW, I wouldn't pay off my mortgage, I would set up an account at the bank to take the monthly payment from. Why? To claim the interest on my tax return.

Years ago I wanted to have a private island in the Bahamas, but now I would rather stay within driving distance of the kids and grandkids.
