Axshually the 3551 fell Wed night, 1335 is still longout. Anyway, for tamale keep 10, 16, and 27 sums in mind. Tonight the 3589 fell I kept it from when the 25 sums hadn't been out for awhile so I got a box with 9538.... I had the 9438 bigly for another 24 sum....I have a couple for tomorrow along these lines 4796, 2233, 1528, 1899, 8883, 4369, 6874, 2932, and 3135. PS Sullys' 3789 for a potential repeat

Yes DELottery Plyr, there's a ticket history section. You can filter it by date as well as filter down to what type of ticket was entered i.e. pick 3, pick 4 or scratch off for example.

Never used any of the state '2nd' chance programs. Can you easily access a spreadsheet or list of all the tickets you have entered? If so you are right this could be a VERIFIABLE 'diary' that the IRS is looking for.

No not necessarily, many players spend a lot more, for eg. $40 a day is $14K+ a year, so it is perfectly OK to claim $10K if all your winnings are $10K for the year. That is reasonable, but claiming $60K , if say $80K is won, $60K is about $170.00 a day is much heavier gambling, better have receipts for that scenario or the income to support......

I thought I read somewhere a couple of years ago the federal government also requires a gambling 'journal' showing what you bet/lost/won each day/event.

Just found this from IRS

To deduct your losses, you must keep an accurate diary or similar record of your gambling winnings and losses and be able to provide receipts, tickets, statements, or other records that show the amount of both your winnings and losses.

What is the obsession with the taxes? Like the lottery guy Jim wrote, your individual tax situation determines how much of your winnings are going to be taxed, period. Those 1099G's are income, if you have any $600.00+ 1099G winnings you need to itemize and take deductions, you can deduct gambling loses up to the amount you won, ALWAYS KEEP YOUR LOSING TICKETS as proof for your deductions. I understand your point, however the bonus also applies to several boxed bet prizes that already exceed the $600 tax threshold on the Pick 5 and Pick 4 games:

Thanks for all the push back you are giving them! I am not seeing alot of tickets with the promo, 1 maybe 2 everytime I play, at the most. When you think about it, I am sure someone at MDlottery got a bonus for coming up with this idea. Anything MDlottery can do to increase tax income for the state. I am really surprised we have not seen a flood of double/double triples in the pick 4 which both would trigger taxes if the promo was applied.

1099G not 1009G.... Yes, they cut you a check but they can give you cash or split some cash and a check. It depends on the agent+ house bank, I know one personally, they usually have enough to cover the P3's and kenos etc. but when large ones come in they will try and accommodate as best as possible, I certainly don't need to walk around a couple thousand cash so I take a check and if I want cash I'll get a hundred of it in cash....the rest check etc.. I just stick with the P3 P4. I've had straights on the P3 plenty of times when I used to play every it day. I've cut way back the last few years though. I'm switching to Pick 4 now. I'm doing a lot of homework on the doubles right now. Working on narrowing them down.

Any SINGLE ticket up to $5K. What you do is if you have let's say 20 straight P4's you don't cash them all at once because the agent+ bank account might get hurt, you simply cash 1 or 2 a day from different agent+'s and voila you have a fat bank account and you'll collect your 1009G's and do your taxes when the time comes....it is what I do when get multiples.

Look up Agent+'s near you, they can cash any single ticket up to $5K, regular agents can only pay up to $600 cash no deductions. I have three agent+'s near me.....and the casino is a MD lottery office.....They aren't W-2's they are 1099-G's
