			<description><![CDATA[<p>I guess it depends on what you did with the 4k.<br /><br />If you spent 8k, and the 4k win was subject to taxes, then the profit would be lower than 4k. If the tax was say 1k, then your profit is 3k, and your net loss would be 5k. (8k - net profit of 3k)<br /><br />If you throw the 3k back in and come up dry, then your out of pocket expenses remain -8k, but the total loss is -11k, and only the IRS won the 1 k tax payout.</p>]]></description>

But let&#x27;s say I wagered $8k and my winnings was $4k. I would assume that means I lost $4k correct? Just wanna make sure I understand what the data is telling me. Thanks</p>]]></description>
