A couple of observations.

You played 15 numbers for Warm. with the structure 0-5-0. In RC5 H-W-C split into 13 number groups which means you expanded W group at the cost of others. I guess you have your selection formula.

I checked CoverMaster for parameters 4-5-15. It generated a wheel with 116 tickets, 100% guarantee. So your 4 win must have been in the missing 21 tic... [ More ]

That is true. I've tried playing a combination of hot and cold numbers on Powerball and MegaMillions and didn't match anything. I defined hot as numbers above the median and cold as below the median. I got the number of times each number was hit from USAMega.

Last 20 draws of the RC5. Each shaded number is frequency of that number on that date going back 20 draws. For example: 3 hit last night for the first time in 20 (+) draws. So it gets a green one. 36 got a red four even though it got a red four on Feb, 29th. Remember draws drop off. I know Allen, Gary and MrB. get it. But for those who don't, just clarifying. 13 to 22 cold last five draws. Side note : last night was to two 10(+) gaps and a connector.

This particular table is that of Cash 4 Life.

For any game with 5 or 6 numbers picked out of N numbers, this analysis can be used.

And people can use frequency, cycle based frequency, skips, fixed sets per game, fixed sets per draw, random sets per game, random sets per draw, etc., for this group analysis

Random set groups will not fit under back tests - can be used a last resort to filter out. Instead of random I will use frequencies and skips.

If I split 5/36 game to 3 groups of 12 numbers each , We see the 5 numbers can come from any of the groups.

example all 5 numbers can come from one group 1/3 or from two groups 2/3 or from all three 3/3

It all plays by probability. But what We are arriving at is a table where it shows

I have to comeup with some more skips based analysis.

Basically it's splitting numbers to groups and the template is same. Now We can fit any criteria past n draws frequency or skips or some other sorts of math statistics based grouping or random or pure static groups.

One can actually back-test and see if there were any trends or in some cases some sort of flip indicator...

It's basically a filter. Allow the top five or six most likely patterns to pass, while keeping in mind, playing with filters at least one or two will throw a long shot, so allow some of those to pass as well.

I've been looking at different settings to see what might work best here. Here are some early results after adding up the skips for the most recent 4 draws for each number and then assigning HWC status to each. The bottom pic shows the results using 3 draws of skips vs 4 draws of skips. Way too early to say yea or nay, so we'll wait and see.

After all the time I spent on it the other night, I decided the only thing that matters is what is happening now.

I decided to go back 35 draws per cycle (140 numbers, 4 hits per number in a perfect scenario).

We're in the 20 draw of this cycle after Thursday's draw. This was done before the draw.

Including the pretests only 3 number hit at or above where they should be at this point. Something to keep an eye on for the time being.

I had an existing group based analysis or group statistics. I was able to add these tests to it. I have filters and analysis based on some group data.

I took Florida Fantasy 5 : It is 5/36 game and no bonus ball. HMC/HWC is 12-12-12 equal split.

I will use the term structure for the per group representation.

005 structure means 0 came from hot 0 came from warm and 5 came from all cold.

This may be a good idea for spotting number trends.

Quantify each color with value, something like:

Red = 5

Yellow = 3

Cyan = 1

Sum colors up for each number for the latest 5 draws (or whatever you find appropriate). But I recommend shorter periods because the longer the period analyzed the less relevant current predictions are.

You will easily see what trends up, is flat or goes down.

The higher (or lower) the score the stronger the trend.

Any 3 splitup of this 49 numbers for 6/49 will be closer...

All numbers from same group 6-0-0,0-6-0,0-0-6 have less probability than numbers split across the 3 groups 2-2-2.

And the uneven spreads also will have probability based on how many of the 3 groups represent the future draw outcome

I recently started to use a hit skip chart to study patterns and trends for each number in the OH 5/39 game. As you'll see, it's all pretty much random, with no way to really know when a number will go hot, warm, or cold.

This chart can help in spotting trends, which may help reduce the number inventory to choose from. However, we still have the timing issue of knowing when a number will stay in its current HWC status, or move on to a new HWC status.

While I have no idea the method Royce used, it shouldn't be hard to figure it out.

I would open up the GH 3 chart, go back 100 draws, run a frequency on 50 draws back from there, print the first result, roughly evenly divide the numbers into three groups, H.A.C. note where the next draw's winning numbers fell. Like a sliding scale, add a draw and deduct a draw, run frequency again see where they fall, etc. Tally it up and see if this method produces the same kind of results, easy-peasy... [ More ]

I ran it. 100 draws equal 400 numbers at 4 numbers per draw. 24 draws (96 numbers) shows some 6,7, 8 hits with some zeross mixed in. Overall a good mix from 0 to highest hitter.

I have some stats on this. Numbers in my data are considered zero counts after not hitting for 19 draws. In the rolling cash five as of today. There are four numbers that haven't hit in 19 draws or more. I like to look at each count using hit percentages. Then I also look at what other counts are at when a specific count hits. The first picture is for four zero counts in general. In 1,672 draws... 277 times there has been four zero counts. 41.2%/one zero count hits....two hit 5.8% and three hit... [ More ]

I was thinking any number of game that allows for each number to hit equally. Since it takes 9 cycles for 35 balls to hit once, each ball would have the chance to hit 10 times in 90 draws. Or 5 times in 45 draws.

With or without that one can group the total/3 or total/3 group share that would have similar representation in final outcome.

layout every 100 Stacked one after another for each draw.

At the end this would map with any number group for the same x wins in n Years with y combinations

It's worth deriving and checking.

The thing I didn't was how Royce Perry determines his hot and cold sets. Looking at the latest Texas 4/35 drawing 8 19 28 35 we have to go back 24 draws to find each of those numbers once.

Have to play with it and see what makes the best sense.

Thanks for sharing.

The usage of repeats from precious draw or not and count of repeat is powerful filter.

lot of things have to fall together on a single day to take the big one...

Example when studies show x wins in y years. One has to play every game or track and play a smaller subset in a said period - 6 months or 1 year.

Math confuses turnip. He can't read tables. And statistics make him cry. In absence of any thought he reverts to his old, climb the mountain cliche.

He's only coming out of the pig sty he built because there is no one there to give him attention. He's like the little boy who insisted everybody had to follow his rules. When the other kids learned not to play with him he was left to wonder why.

In my case I can pull up statistics tables and back the fact that We can't find what is going to hit -May be one case estimate like within next x draws certain number will fall.

But usually it is rare that someone can catch the whole set of 5 numbers be it for week or so. Especially big games with 60+ balls.

There are huge lottery pools who go till 4/5 s with that play budget but they don't make huge margins.

Have some go to options that allow you to look at different possible outcomes.

It's like people, they are all going to let you down, so choose what makes you happy, even when you don't win.

Yep. Been burned more than a few times. There is just no hard and fast rule that works 100% of the time.

Or maybe there is but when you're 100% sure in what you think will happen so you are blind to the rule.

Trying to knock this leather out today to get back Yaqiu's Digital Monkeywerks. I was looking at hot and cold last night when I was working on it. If there is a switch I didn't find it.
