I find it somewhat interesting after watching the recording on you tube to hear the host of the Mega Millions Live Drawing, on Tuesday 04/16/2024 say. . .

we had Technical Difficulties.

Anytime computers and networking is involved, there's always room for hanky panky. As an IT admin, with enterprise rights, anything can be done and all these lotteries are networked. The speed at which things are calculated should have no room for error, unless it's 'human error' which means manipulation/tampering. In looking in to this...there are definitely some anomalies. I have a tendency not to play these big drawings anyway. Who wants to stand in line with all the amateurs (oh man, I always wait for the drawing to get to 500 million before I play !). Another thing I discovered is the lamentable state of programming on the web sites of several states to wit:
