LJ1, pretend you didn't hear it from me but one reason I use front sum/back sum chart is it's simple notation that gives you the sum.

Take last night's winning 435....12...19...22...30.

Front digits 1123.added together it equals 7.

Back digits 2920 equals 13.

Front digit sum 7 is in the tens place. It actually means 70.

Back digits are singles. 13 is 13.

Add 70 and 13 you have the the sum as if we had added 12 19 22 30... [ More ]

I don't buy the Quick Picks anymore for the Mega Millions game. I only purchase 1 QP line... from time to time, That's only if I'm interested.

I have much more fun analyzing the patterns trying to score a minimum 3/3. Anything more is a bonus.

I only run the sums with all 5 winning WB's only. I never broke it down with front digits back digits regarding sums.

Last night I bought QPs. All these pattern ideas have kept me busy.

The winner was 10 13 31 33 29.

Third time 10 13 31 33 have hit together.

When we break it down... The sum is 87, 2 front digits, 3 back digits, in short it checks 9 of the 11 boxes in our fantasy requirements.

Stack, after all the mess of attempting to find all the possible combinations of identifiers I 100% agree it's more about anomalies. After a couple of hours searching the total matrix against possible identifier combos I gave up. Comparing millions of possible combinations against 52360 possible results is not a productive idea.

Back to the drawing board on that.

The game pattern you posted is the perfect idea of what most thing of when they think patterns.

A better plan for sure, for now...

That's until the $5.00 per one line takes effect at some point.

The Mega Millions game has no Double Play, no seven days week drawings, no twice a day drawings, and no RNG as of now.

It's still a mechanical draw that is televised to view exactly what sequence the white Balls were selected as winners.

It has the Megaplier which can amplify prizes won if selected on the bet slip.

It's easy to see patterns watching 20 card Keno videos because they are drawing 20 out of 80 numbers. They usual start with 16, 20, or more numbers in one of the four quadrants or in the middle and usually play 5, 6, and 7 spots. It takes much longer to even observe a pattern when they only draw 5 out 70 and then play it before the streak ends.

Well.....well.....uh....okay, I.....uh....did a funny.

I tested to see how many combinations all 11 identifiers would produce. At sum 58 the computer hit 10 million and I hit STOP. Not all those combinations are going to be relative to the game anyway.

I eliminated the sum.

At 7 million I stopped the program again.

Looking for more things to eliminate now.

When I tried deciding what dr san was asking I was getting confused at the word patterns.

Sometimes we use the word pattern when we are talking about the thing that occur in the flow of the game.

Other times we use patterns to denote the various small categories we pull from the inventory/matrix.

Suns are not a pattern. They can become a pattern during the flow of the game.

Still trying to figure out how even/odd or high/low distribution can be called a pattern in 5/39 games unless the results fall way outside of probability standard deviation. And considering there is one more odd number, by default odd numbers should be drawn more. Mostly ever or odd is used as standard filters but the number of number of mostly even or odd combos should be calculated before believing they are on to something.

Did go bakandplay with the 11 identifiers. Finally got that to 48.2%. had to tinker with the numbers and eliminate 4 identifiers totally.

You guys mentioned patterns. I've been working on a pattern tracking sheet for awhile now. I've thought of just playing the top 15 patterns for the rolling cash five. This picture shows the 23345 pattern. It's hit 60 times. Those counts added up from 29 all the way up to 38 numbers used. For tonight, 29 numbers is the total. That's adding up 1,2,3 and 4 counts. Quick update.

Using any of the values in the 11 patterns results in about 20+% running the draw result.

We can increase that to 35.4% by setting E/O and H/L to include the 3/1 pattern.

Either that or begin excluding each of the 11 to see which is the weakest link.

Can't tell what you are doing there. The idea is to interlace each pattern with every other pattern to find the ones that hit the most.

I'll put in some trabajo, magic elbow grease, swirl a bowl of purified water in a lava lamp lit room and see what comes up. But I doubt that mixing and matching each variable of all 11 patterns will come near 70%.

With some real work to break down any game and find those 11 patterns and sums it should work on those too.

So fwiw we narrowed down 11 patterns and sums that we can get close, or above 70%.

For Texas 435 a sum range between 50 and 92 comes to 71%

Front digits totals of 2 and 3 come to 88%

Back digits totals of 3 and 4...96%

Front digit patterns the top 14 come to 73% and the kicker is you have to include 0123 which conflicts with the rule of 2 and 3 front digits.

Fsum 3 to 8.....86%

Bsum 11 to 22....73%

Tsum 15 to 28....75%

Vsum 9 to 15....79%

Matti thinks we should consider a different option.

First, instead of using 25, 50 or 100 draws it wouldbw more correcter to use 36 (or multiples of 36). Since there are 35 numbers it requires a minimum of 9 draws for all the numbers to hit once. And since we have four positions it would require 9x4, or 36 draws for each number to hit in every position. (Not entirely truth but it close enough for government work.

It's almost like you have to Hedge the Bet...

Playing the patterns that seem most probable to occur, and playing the opposite, that are unlikely to occur.

Tracking the patterns in a short term trend... say, the last 5, last 10 or maybe somewhere in between the last 25 draws should give a trending bias as to the direction of where the game is moving in the next drawings. As you had said Gary, and I concur... Patterns are Short Lived.

I've seen that enough to agree but it remains a Good enough reason for conspiracy theorists to claim it's rigged.

Overall the front digits totals in Texas 435 is 88.9%. then when we break it into 100 draw segments it fluctuates from 83% to 93%.

A break of 25 or 50 draws might change the totals a bit more. Hard to imagine that any pattern making up 80% of the matrix/inventory would flat bottom out in any case. But stranger things.......

That's a good question. Not sure if I understand exactly what you are asking but I'll try.

Can't remember the last time I tried eliminating numbers when running stats. I've eliminated them when they hit 3 or more in a row and they still come out! Everybody has probably been victimized by similar eliminations.

The pitfall to eliminating numbers is imo is the ending digit in each position. Any ending digit can hit in any position. So the question is what digits have the best chance if hitt... [ More ]

You could buy GH's Master Guide to help you find individual 70% patterns. Of course patterns do not always play nice with other patterns so you may not get the desired result.

In the Texas 435 we have 2 to 3 front digits better than 80% of the time. We have 3 to 4 back digits about 90% of the time. That's four basic patterns 2 front, 3 back; 2 front, 4 back; 3 front, 3 back; and 3 front, 4 back.

I opt for not a singular pattern will meet your requirement through the life of the game. It may happen in short periods intermittently but it will not last.

To meet 70% all patterns are going to have to be coupled. In Texas 435 we have 12096 draws. To meet 70% requires a result of 8467 minimum.

2E/2O checks in at 4901.

1E/3O at 3221.

3E/1O at 2759.

As you see any two of those fall short of your 70%.

Same is true for high/low numbers, sums, front digit patterns, etc.
