Favorable outcome =1

Possible outcomes = 10

In a daily game for each position in the combo. If you have no game history, the probability of your selected number coming out is 1:10

If you have the history, the observational probability will favor the numbers that have previously appeared with higher frequency, but there are no major leaders, over time they still settle in at ~10%. I look at the probabilities of all possible outcomes and this doesn't really change from a pick 2 through... [ More ]

At face value, all numbers have an equal chance of being drawn.

A simple example from a pick n style game like the pick 3...

10 balls in each machine, each ball having a 10% expectancy of being drawn. With a 10% expectancy, your historic data will present as a uniform distribution rather than a bell curve because there is no probability higher than 10% for each number.

The only data you have is past draw results.
