When comparing two games, it is not enough to just compare the odds. One must also compare the cost of the tickets.

When you include the cost of the tickets, when playing Atlantic49 it is much easier to win the jackpot than with Lotto 649.

I told you I would take the $ 2 million. Or whatever the jackpot would be at the time! The odd's are the same for either lottery. The Lotto Max is alot tougher to win on

The odds for the Provincial Atlantic 49 and the Lotto 649 are the same.

Any 6/49 game anywhere have the same odds.

1 in 13,983,816

Atlantic49/BC49/Western Canada49/Quebec49 as well as the National Lotto649 are all RNG draws

Only Ontario49 is mechanical ball drop

Atlantic49 tickets cost $1 each for a chance at $1M

BC49, WC49, ONT49, and QUE49 tickets are $1 for a chance at $2M

Based on your decision, you should not play Lotto Max and Lotto 649.

Instead, you should only play your provincial games where you could win $1 million to $2 million.

By playing, Lotto Max and Lotto 649, you are effectively choosing the promotion . Trying to win much more than $2 million and with odds that are 5 to 10 times higher (or more) than the provincial games.

In response to the reply above! I would only want to play the lottery and collect my winning's. If it was $2 million or whatever the jackpot. As well, not the special promotion where I would lose any winning's. Any money I won would help me to have a better quality of life hopefully

You have the choice of participating or not.
