no problem. so the first time i did the procedure i got 520.63083320433. what i did was calculate the value

(520.63083320433 + pi) x sqrt2 = 740.72606824532

and then i put the 72606824532 in my second line. then i calculated the value

(740.72606824532 + pi) x sqrt2 = 1051.98773465398

and i put the 98773465398 on the third line. and then i just kept going like that. any method that makes a 7 by 11 grid you can call a 7-11 method. the good thing about these big grids is you can fi... [ More ]

Hi Brock, you said keep doing this with each new #. How do you determine what the new # is? I'm unfamiliar with the 7-11 method.

this is a grid system that actually works. first take your starting number, let's say 365. first you add pi, then multiply by the square root of 2, then take the first 11 digits after the decimal point as the first line of your grid.

(365 + pi) x sqrt2 = 520.63083320433

then you keep doing this procedure with each new number you get, until you get 7 lines of a grid. some people also call this the 7-11 method. like this:
