The first year's payment will be right around $15,000 for each million of the advertised jackpot (so for the starting jackpot of $20M, it would be $300K; for the current $113M, it's just under $1.7M). Each year's payment is 5% more than the previous one, ending with a final payment in the 30th year a bit over four times larger than the first.

On the left side of this screen is a list various places to access. At the bottom of the list is a colorful squarelink to USA MEGA, click that

When the USA MEGA page opens up, on the left side you will see Mega Millions or Powerball and under each of those is Jackpot Analysis , click that

When that page opens up, scroll down and find your state and it will show you the annuity payments with deductions for taxes if you are single or married.

Pretty neat stuff.....Good luck

You can always send an email to PowerBall or MegaMillions and ask them how they calculate their respective annuities. You can check their web pages for their email address. They might even have that info already out on their sites too. G5

Can someone share how we calculate the annuity if someone has won the PB or MM Jackpot and wants the money in annuity not in cash

What are the formulas used for such calculations
