Grouping Numbers is part of the Patterns. IMO.

If you group the numbers, such as the WB's (White Balls) in MM Mega Millions game, patterns do develop over time.

76.6% of the winning WB's occur within the L19 games.

Try Grouping the WB's by five.

Example:

The Low end of the Field (01-35): 01-05, 10-15, 16-20....

The Upper end of the Field (36-70)

You'll notice, some groups are much hotter or colder than others.

Colder: Less Hits

Hotter: More Hits.... [ More ]

Excellent points.....I should change saying pattern to grouping of numbers. The only thing would disagree with and that is using the second drawing. To me and it's just my opinion. I see that as a separate game.J.M.O.

Looking at it from a point of Random...

With enough Random Drawings... Patterns Do occur.

It's just that you Need to Know, what you're looking for from a statistical point of view, and a little luck.

Short Term Indicators show, in most of the time, which direction the game is heading.

Your looking at it from the perspective of it bein random I'm looking at it as if it was loaded balls. All they would have to do is get the combination that was not played. And put a heavier balls in from the rest. The game draws the balls from the bottom. It would not be rocket surgery for them to do that. Edward Tippton rigged a lottery. I never said I know everything, but you just don't make any sense talking about patterns. The point I'm making is that if the numbers drawn are part of the matrix of the game, then whatever is drawn is drawn. As KY Floyd said, the balls don't know they have numbers, let alone what the numbers are.

Wasn't me buying. My mom wanted them. But years ago. I would buy a couple hundred dollars at a time. And trust me it never payed off. I did cash her tickets today and see wanted a hundred dollars more. So i cashed in her winners. Got her ten more. And gave her the 400 back. She won 105. I bought myself 16 dollars worth of tickets for a draw game. And managed to loose 6 dollars worth of tickets on my way back home. Makes me mad. Hoping i did not loose a winner.

I would not say that it's rigged. But if 7 8 9 10 11 was drawn next draw. I would find it suspicious to say the least. I mean the state government lies to us everyday and people don't seem to concerned with it. And they run lotterys.

Totally agree with you.

Even the patterns that some see are all in the mind.

The whole idea of the lottery is to make it hard to win. The past MM and PB drawings did not even have 1 million dollar winners. It's that hard.

People play their birthdays, car plates, home addresses, all of that and still they don't win.

That is why when I go to the store, I get a QP and am on my way to do other more constructive stuff that I know will give me money.

Here is a question for some to ponder.

PB has 292,201,338 possible combinations.

MM has 302,575,350 possible combinations.

Let's say we have a draw in which 1-2-3-4-5 +6 is drawn. This is one of possible sets of numbers that is part of millions of combinations. Would such a draw be condemned as rigged ? If so, WHY?

I imagine if they are rigged. They already have combinations that no one's played. Be pretty cool if they televised weighting and loading the balls in the machine before each drawing. But good news in the last forum talking about the dry spell with scratchers. My mom likes those 10 dollar bingo scratch offs. So I picked her up a hundred dollars worth. She won 575.00.
