They wouldn't make it right because they don't want to. In your case, if you hadn't caught it and reran your slips you would have thought you won. Then you would have went to cash it and they would've said, You didn't win. This ticket is for next Saturday's drawing . And you would be SOL. Nice little scam they got going there.

The lottery people went to the store and tried to say they messed with the machines. Really. Instead of owning up to it they started a bunch of bull.

If it happens again maybe you could get the clerk to verify it for you some how. A note or something perhaps. Then if you go back to Lottery HQ about it, it may force them to look into it and see if there is a problem. If you hadn't caught it you wouldn't have won. I wonder how many others had that happen and thought they lost, and then threw out their tickets for that drawing not realizing it was actually good for a week later.

Until you run into computer glitches. A couple of years ago at a store I gave the clerk the slip. He ran it but the draw said a week from the current Saturday. I saw this on th ticket and told him to run it again because it was close to the draw time. He did and the same slip printed the correct date the current Saturday. Needless to say the draw was close and I waited at the store. Alas I won. On the next Monday I went to the lottery headquarters and told them the machine printed two different

Sorry, but you are out of luck. From the back of a MD lottery Pick 3 play slip. All play slips will say more or less the same. Look at yours.

Under How To Play. Before you leave the Retailer location, be sure to verify that the selections on your ticket are the selections requested on the play slip. It's your responsibility to make sure the ticket represents the numbers you selected and the drawings you wanted to enter.

You can sue the Florida Lottery in small claims court if the amount in dispute is $5,000 or less. To file a case, you need to file a Statement of Claim with the appropriate county clerk

My luck! I bought Texas 2Step ticket tonight. When I got home what was supposed to be 2Step tickets were tickets for the Texas Lottery.

Unfortunate error on the clerk's part. Nothing you can do about it. You should always check that all of your tickets are accurate before leaving the store.

I went to a retailer today to purchase pick 3 pick 4 evening tickets. Gave her my slips new kid ran them jammed the machine. She comes fixes it canceled ran tickets and then ran them again. After 2 slips ran I gave her a final number to key in BOOM DONE. Made the cut off later that evening I went to check my numbers and the clerk ran my slips for tomorrow evening BUT the last one keyed in played for today the right night.
