1. I would understand showing a UK winner on the US site if the JACKPOT were won because that prize is combined with the US.

Based on the number of wins in each prize tier and the odds of winning for each prize tier, I calculated the estimated sales for the first two draw.

For July 22, the estimated sales were 1.1 million tickets and for July 25, it was 1.6 million tickets.

The Mega Millions jackpot increased by $47 million to $800 million after 37 rolls. This is the largest jackpot increase in the current Mega Millions run. There is an estimated 4.1% chance the Mega Millions jackpot will be won in the next draw whereas it is almost double at 8.1% for Powerball.

This is only the second time the Mega Millions jackpot rolled 37 times in a row. It is close to the all time record of 39 rolls.

Race Number Two has officially begun. It will compare the average size of winning jackpots instead of the largest jackpots. For Mega Millions, the tracking period begins in April 2025, when the ticket price increased. For Powerball, it begins now, when UK joined the game.

As expected, Powerball is off to an early with its current $600 million jackpot. The Mega Millions average winning jackpot is $410 million. The average includes the current jackpot.

The estimated Powerball jackpot for the July 22 draw, the first draw that includes UK players, increased by a cash value of $10.2 million. The previous jackpot increase was $8 million. The next estimated jackpot increase for the July 25 draw is $14.6 million.

They are definitely expecting a significant boost to sales based on including UK players. The Powerball jackpot also may reverse the trend and start increasing at a faster rate than the Mega Millions jackpot.

We have tickets for the next Mega Millions draw. One ticket has a 4 times multiplier.

I am hoping the pool manager can buy Powerball tickets in UK giving us a chance to win the jackpot with no taxes to pay. That will make for a huge payout.
