My draw history is around 2100 draws for the rolling cash five in Ohio. Spreadsheets are so large they take awhile to load up. It just aint you. There are many on this board who love to create crazy spreadsheets. I enjoy the process also.

Spreadsheets here as well. They can get quite complex, as can reading from and writing to them with Python scripts. I have more fun working with the sheets than actually playing. Currently have not played for a few months now while the next attempt is being worked out.

Fun to develop and learn, not so much to see the hard work not pay off... then fun again to go back to the drawing board (and flowcharts) for the next big idea .

Many years ago I tracked each draw. I would chart which number played in which position, then choose numbers accordingly. I did this mostly for Mega Millions, and also Texas Lotto. It never did help me win anything extraordinary.

I have a very scientific way...(LOL). I have a cup full of pennies numbered 1-54. I pull them one by one.

Yes, it's very possible to have one number hitting on each line (6 lines). Therefore, there would 3 lines without any winning numbers. Last week I had 2 lines with 2 correct numbers and 2 lines with 1 number each. So all 6 numbers were on 4 lines.

Here's the deal. All the winning numbers are on no more than 6 lines. That's 36 numbers (6x6=36). 18 numbers are eliminated. Odds of get... [ More ]

Ooh, this looks like a plan. There are 54 numbers and 6 number per line so that's 9 lines.

What do you use to pick the numbers or do you just list them from 1 to 54.

On the Texas Lotto game when it gets up to $9 or $10 million cash, I will play all the numbers in the game on 9 lines. It really reduces the odds of hitting the jackpot over just playing one or even a few lines. It's still hard, but all the numbers are guaranteed to be on no more than 6 lines.

I play it once a week on Saturday when the jackpot is the highest (unless it is won earlier in the week).

If I play it Wednesday I'll just do one ticket QP.

The chosen numbers are made up of some patterns a few specific numbers. Change is not often but when things just get cold, then comes the adjustment. Don't feel bad about it either, cause the old numbers I check on for about 90 days but keeping a losing ticket on the desk.

Someone once poasted here that the Georgia lottery will let uoi pick some numbers for a draw game ( 5 or 6 number gamers) and gjheir lottery will pick the rest of ther numberds.

A. Choose a Quick Pick every time

99.9% of the time I buy a QP. Saves time and there is no emotional attachment to anything.

Occasionally I use RNG tools.

B. Pick your own set of numbers and play them every single time

I don't do this. I feel this is the easiest way to be taken hostage by the lottery. In your mind you always think the day you don't play is the day your numbers roll in. I stay far from this.
