The number of combinations in my list varies from drawing to drawing.

It could range anywhere from 1 to 400 combinations.

If you have a gigantic list, it's more likely you'll win (but not net very much because of all the tickets purchased), and if you don't, you'll lose a lot of money.

Whether or not they were in exact order is irrelevant.

The fact remains that I picked the correct digits: 3-4-5.

Your guesses only make sense as straight bets .

Your assumptions expose the limit of your intelligence.

Choosing the right digits requires much more than a guess !

The winning numbers were 345. You posted 534 and 543, so that could be considered a winner. It pays $41 for a $0.50 wager as a box 6-way. But it wouldn't make any sense to play it that way, because 534 and 543 are the same in any order. Your guesses only make sense as straight bets. They lost.

Let me see if I can get this straight. Your claim is: 1) if the lottery did a simple random number drawing, they would not make money, and 2) because they are using a pattern, this is what does make them money.

Both of those claims are wrong.

1) The lottery pays out either 500-1 or 600-1 for a pick 3 straight, which has a 1 in 1,000 chance of winning in a fair drawing. Do some math. This paytable gives the lottery a significant profit margin.

Nothing is random it's within a play frame so that lottery can profit , believe what you want I'm winning and based off my posts and happy clients they would agree . I think that the old timers I speak of had it figured out that the tracking system they were using was going to change (ever so sleightly} with the insertion of the present day's number and modified their next day's play to coincide with that .

The old timers had a Pick 3 System called Next Day's Play but it was only good for the following day hence the title. Do your potential customers need to receive your guaranteed pairs on a day to day basis

Keemdreambean: You will find success, pairs are a great filter. I use it often and win good on , front pair, back pair, $1.00 = $60.00, so I run the pair across the play slip, which is 5 times, = a $300.00 win for a $5.00 cost. Not bad.

When I study split pairs, it cost a little more to win, or I just run all 10 sets.

Using the Deflate Tool , you can reduce the split pairs, 3x0 , and 0x3 and find the most due, and the most played.
