I have been successful twice in past Mega draws to get 3-1 + Mega ball using Megaplier, winning $600 and $800. You are right about being able to get a prize like 4-1 in the challenge being a lot easier. Getting a 5-0 only requires 492 combinations, so in PB for $1584 , you could get $1 million, if you perfect your system to the point that 5 out of 12 hits often.

@lottobrain, the MadDog challenge is 3168 = (12 choose 5)*(4 choose 1) TIMES easier to win the jokepot than the actual MM or PB lottos. So even with a 5+1 challenge win, odds are it will only translate to a 3+0 or 2+1 real life lotto win. With some luck, maybe a 3+1 real life win.

The value of the challenge is that it motivates people to discover ways to beat uniform random pick odds. So far, I've improved the odds by what translates to only a few extra 3 ball wins per year.

Of course I guess I should have added that I had played 5 drawings at $15 before winning that $46!?..........So it's not easy to win on the big games as you say.

This comment is pretty amazing coming from the person who scored two $50,000 wins in the PB challenge last year. On the other hand I beat those odds Monday night with 5 tickets with #12 PB and power play winning $46 including one of the tickets with 2 WBs + #12.
