Best Use Cases for pivot tables with lottery data:

Counting number frequencies by position

Comparing frequencies by time segments (month, year, day of week, draw type)

Summarizing hit/skip patterns

Filtering by game, state, or play type

Sample Pivot Layouts:

Rows: Number; Values: Count for frequency tables

Rows: Number; Columns: DayOfWeek/Month for distribution analysis

Using filters for specific subsets of draws

Limitations:

Has anyone found a use case for pivot tables when looking at results
