The most essential skill set that I have is getting Quick Picks aka QP.

I have gotten so good at it, every time I play, I get a different set of numbers - just can't believe how good I am.

Matching 2 or 3 of 6 numbers is not that unusual.

Random numbers have patterns. However, the patterns are random.

Something I should have added to my original post...... I couldn't care less if the lottery is random or not. I pay absolutely no attention to anybody that thinks it is. Hell, I don't even care what those that think it's not random have to say!

I've never won a jackpot in the 25+ years I've been playing the lottery. At best I've had modest success using the number behaviors that I mentioned.

If what you say is true, why am I consistently getting 2 to 3 numbers right looking at PATTERNS in a sequential manner?

You do understand if the lottery was random, you wouldn't see any patterns, let alone, a sequence in the numbers behavior. You wouldn't see any of that stuff.

Yeah, there are members here adamant that the lottery numbers are random, and would die on that hill believing that. I've been doing this for 25+ years. It is anything but random.

Like you said yourself, a uniform behavior of the numbers. If it was random, it'd look chaotic, unpredictable and you wouldn't be able to craft a system or method around it if it was random.

Yep! And that's another issue, entirely! I've always had a problem with the Lottery waiting a whole hour after closing before announcing the winning numbers.

Why do they need that much time when it's all systematic? It only take mere seconds to a minute to tally all ticket purchases/numbers in the system, and should be able to announce the winning numbers in 5 minutes after closing.

The best mathematical skill for the lottery is: knowing exactly what mathematics DOES NOT allow.

Lottery participants already demonstrate this maturity which, ironically, puts them above 99% of players.

Lottery drawings are independent random number drawings. This means that past results have no influence on future drawings.

You can analyze past drawings all you like. It's a total waste of time.

Given the number of lottery games across the country, every once in a while, one of them will produce results that would otherwise be quite unlikely if it were the only game. Big deal. When lots of numbers get drawn every day, repetitions occur just because of the volume.

The numbers do have certain behaviors to them. There has to be at least one number that has the least number of hits per year, and one (sometimes two) has to have the most hits per year. There's always a normal distribution or Bell Curve for all the numbers in any game. Also in just about every game, repeaters, one, two, three and four skips typically have the most hits in any given number of drawings.

Not that I ever won a jackpot prize but based my on experience and expertise of winning smaller prizes, Critical Reading of past drawings is the most essential skillset needed to tame the lottery.

While other skills like creating filters, finding patterns/sequences and creating a system is crucial to winning, it leads to disillusion if you reading the numbers wrong.
