			<description><![CDATA[<p>There are local income taxes in some states too. There are cities in Michigan that have city income taxes.<br /><br />Also there is a petition circulating in Michigan to add a second rate for Millionaires.... because a million dollars.. clearly a capricious amount.<br /><br />There is no analysis being circulated as to why a million dollars is the magic number.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I truly feel lucky to live in a state that does not tax the lottery.<br /><br />The difference in the finally amount with big jackpots runs into the millions of dollars.<br /><br />Actually the tax difference feels like a jackpot win.<br /><br />The recent 1.8 billion Powerball jackpot, the difference for a winner from New York and one from those that don&#x27;t tax the lottery is a whooping 91 million dollars plus change.</p>]]></description>
