I asked Google When was the most recent lucky for life jackpot win?

The answer I got, Most Recent Top-Tier Win: A ticket purchased via the Jackpocket app in Arkansas won the grand prize in late September 2023

I hope that someone wins the jackpot before the change to the new game and I hope after the changes, the jackpot gets won more frequent.

If the answer is correct, that only means that not as many people play the game. Two years with no winner is not encouraging at all.

Just found out Maryland is not going to participate in the new game. So I'm thinking they might add a new game or mabye add a day on one of there draw games. Just a guess though. Guess I'll wait and see......And good luck if you playing. And please keep me updated on how you like the new game.

I've been reading the posts in this thread and it seems to me that the consensus of opinion is most people intend to play Millionaire4Life despite the $5 per line price tag. In other threads about paying $5 for one line of MM, many players say the game is doomed at that price point. I think an important point is being over looked by many players.

I re-did the calculations and it's the typical draw game, in terms of payback %.

But it is still far better than MM, in my opinion. Here's why:

Tucker Black, No doubt you are very well aware of probabilities and such but I'll take a wild guess and say most lottery players don't care. What used to be a dollar and a dream is now two or five dollars and a dream. Has any lottery folded because of its high probabilities? It's been said that due to its body weight and wingspan a bumble been shouldn't be able to fly but it doesn't know that so off it goes.

The difference between Lucky for Life $2 and Millionaire for Life $5 is nothing like the difference between old MM $2 and new MM $5. New MM $5 is a horrible game. It's not just the price of $5, it's what you get for that five bucks.

Lucky for Life $2 has a 1 in 30 million chance of winning the top prize. Millionaire for Life improves that to 1 in 23 million.

It would be interesting to see how many States that currently offer Lucky For Life or Cash4Life will drop out and not offer the Millionaire For Life game.

Not sure what that would mean, either the $5 price is not appealing to them or maybe the distribution from sales for worthy causes or something else.

Delaware has not said anything about what will happen with Lucky For Life yet either, but I was close to their office today and I stopped in and asked the receptionist and she said the game would be stopped in Feb. The states that are dropping probably want to see people continue playing and spending for as long as possible and don't want to have them quit to early if they make announcements now.

Last Cash4Life draw in PA is also February 21st. They are having a second chance sweepstakes for losing C4L tickets sold between Dec 5th 2025 and Feb 21st 2026. Not many details on that part yet.

For me ... I play lucky 4 life maybe twice a week (like it was mon Thur originally) when pb and or mm are below the 250 million threshold for me to jump into those games .

Now with the merged millionaire 4 life and the three dollar increase in price .... I'll still play but only once per week.

I look forward to the new game but I'm not going gaga over it.

Same here @ saving money. I mostly just play one number every draw. When it gets high I buy an extra ticket or two. So in the long run I'm still saving. I'm no longer buying twenty dollars or more when the jackpot gets high. With this new game. I might get bored and buy a ticket on a Thursday or Sunday. But it's gonna be on a rare occasion. I will buy my first ticket on the 22nd when the change over happens, then moving forward will mostly play on Sundays.

It will be mostly a once a week play.

It's interesting that all these changes that happen end up saving me money in the long run.

Used to play $3 MM every draw, now I mostly play on Friday - $4 saved.

I play lucky for life almost daily, now will only play $5 on Sunday, another $9 saved.

I think both games are computer generated.

I believe the appealing part for the States is that the game is not a growing jackpot, so if sales increase and winnings don't, they get to keep more for good cause

A $5 ticket is worth almost $5. Exactly how much depends on how many people have to split the top two prizes, which is difficult to estimate without sales numbers.

No stupid multipliers and the odds of winning something is a reasonable 1 in 8.47.

You can buy all the numbers in the second basket of five with one selection of white balls for half the cost of doing so in Powerball.
