Okay, it depends on how it's approached and how it's cross-referenced with other filters, using a reference filter.

Delay groups are a solid defensive filter, but a poor offensive strategy.

That is mostly what my classifier script does. Displays the hots, colds and neutrals .

Slightly different implementation, but the same information. In each position it calculates a sample size by the formula (number of balls in the game, 10 for 0-9) x (number of times to give each number a chance to appear, I use 15) which for pick N games is 150 draws.

The output shows the following information...

Let's create a positional strategy for Pick 3 (0-9 lottery game in 3 digits) based exactly on what you asked for: cross the 3 main groups (delays, even/odd and low/high), with the pairs (position pairs: 1-2, 1-3 and 2-3) focusing on the smallest and largest digit in these pairs, and also incorporating hot/cold/medium.

Basic definitions used in the strategy (standard in Pick 3)

Low = 0-4

High = 5-9

Even = 0, 2, 4, 6, 8

Odd = 1, 3, 5, 7, 9

In Pick 3 (a game with 3 digits, 0-9 in each position), many people use the concept of digit skips/delays to create filters and try to reduce the number of combinations played.

The most common system for lag groups is to divide digits into 3 categories depending on how many draws they are delayed (haven't appeared):

Short (small/recent delay) digits that appeared recently

Medium (moderate delay) digits in between
