I couldn't agree more with that statement if I had to.

I just happen to be in the middle of taking a break from playing the games I usually play but it's not because I'm keeping an eye on myself. It's because of that Florida Lottery Millionaire Raffle. Tickets went on sale on March 1st and cost 20 bucks a pop and the final drawing to win a million dollars isn't until July 2nd.

Periodically I deliberately stop playing for a while. (Could be for a month or so) It really doesn't have so much to do with the economy as much as it does me. I intentionally do it so that I know that I'm in control and not the lottery. Right now, I stopped playing regularly a couple of weeks ago. Because Florida has a raffle going on right now, (ends July 2nd) I'll probably pick up a ticket in May, or maybe in June. We'll see. G5

Nehhhh....I have a coworker that's habitually late since 2022 and that takes care of any normal weekly purchases .....The only thing that affects my lottery play is the cost of rising lottery prices and games with foolish odds. One or the other or both would be the culprit for non participation.

Gas is now over $5.00 a gallon at some places in Michigan. (it was over $4.00 a gal. last week

If you can't afford to play right now use the time to study the games and improve on your methods, or create new ones and try different things. Then practice with them on paper. When prices come back down you'll be all set to win.

Same here I'm blessed to have a union gig. And my job is approximately 15 minutes from my house. Even though I'm sick and tired of playing. I'm still fortunate enough and thankful to be able to buy tickets. I do feel sorry for the people who have been priced out. Due to the increase. Good luck everyone

My next cut would be not to play at all. I am down to $12 a week for PB... that is it, no more pick n games. I will be picking up a pa raffle ticket in november also.

I feel fortunate to be able to keep playing the lottery as I have always done and to also keep my lifestyle the same even with the increased cost of goods and services.
