When was the last time they changed the machines and the ball sets?

The answer is, of course, that they select which ones to use for each drawing. While it's certainly possible that the same set of balls and the same machine could be used for successive drawings the chances become less likely with each additional drawing. With only 3 of each the chance of using either of them for the next drawing is 1 in 3 and the chance of both repeating is 1 in 9.

In 2026 number 14 is currently the mo... [ More ]

I suppose it didn't dawn on you that the machines and ball sets may have something to do with which numbers are drawn?

Any attempt to summarize like you did should take that into consideration.

The matrix is only part of the puzzle so you should know when and if the ball sets and machines were changed.

Tique, thanks for The Double Play analysis. I usually don't buy the double play option so I don't pay much attention to it's stats. Maybe I should.

Based on what you posted above, it looks to me like number 5 is the Red Ball in Double Play to play for the balance of 2026.

Just like in Take5 and Florida Fantasy5, the number with the most hits on June 30th usually ends the year as the biggest hitter. I've seen that happen in many different years. For PB the Biggest Red Ball hitter in 2024... [ More ]

Very interesting, G5. In the Double Play option number 14 has 34 hits since the option became available on 8/23/2021. In 2026 it has 4 hits. Number 5 has 35 hits overall but leads 2026 with with 7 total hits, followed by number 3 with 33 hit overall and 6 hits in 2026. Number 17 has 40 hits overall but only 4 hits in 2026. Depending on how many tickets one plays, these are additional options - with a better payout than Powerball alone. Peace and Blessed Be. Best of skill and luck to all players.... [ More ]

There are nine ways players can win cash playing PowerBall. Of those nine ways, six of them require the player to match the Red Ball. ( The Power Ball )

The Red Ball drawn the most since 10/7/2015 (the date the current matrix was implemented) is number 14. It's been drawn 65 times since October of 2015.

In each year since 2020, the most frequently drawn Red Ball was drawn 12 or 13 times. In 2026 number 14 is currently the most drawn Red Ball having been drawn 7 times as of last night.... [ More ]
