If there's no tax on winnings then the effective odds are almost certainly better. Without the federal income tax or 37% on a big win the same game odds would make a foreign jackpot of $100 million comparable to a US jackpot of (about) $150 million. Similarly, a foreign jackpot with odds less than 50% worse is effectively better than a US jackpot with the same (pre-tax) jackpot.

That is true as well.

Not sure how we compare odds wise, but I have a feeling they could be having better odds as well

foreign visitors would probably ask chad g petey how to cash an american lottery ticket before buying one, and when they learn what a pain in the butt it is in every state for all but small prizes, they would skip the experience.

I don't know about Las Vegas and the Casinos across the country, but, is it fair to say that the World Cup being held in the US has had no impact on Lottery Sales?

I think the jackpots increase has been consistent with the past before the games started.

I thought when fans from around the globe come in and see our PB and MM billboards they would want some part of the pie.

At least, I know alcohol sales are on another level
