Mr-B 216, you are free to look at the tool at Lottery Post and see how it works. It does not require any special membership to look at it and see the options. Standard members such as yourself can do everything except see the final wheel output.

Todd, I was referring to your post here .

I realize we aren't talking apples to apples here. The original tool I created was based on a request from AboveAverage a few years ago. I myself have never found a need for it. I was just creating a tool for someone, using their ideas and terminology to suit their needs. The tool back then was web based. Since I no longer have a website, I offered to convert it to an .exe file if that would help AboveAverage25.

Mr-B 216, I'm referring to Lottery Post's Positional Wheels page, not a third party utility. In Lottery Post's Positional Wheels, you simply select which are all the numbers that can possibly appear in each position. No need for a hold step.

Clicking Reduce, shows the results. Clicking - To Pool, sends those results to the new Pool of numbers.

If the first two positions of a Pick 3 combination are always the same two numbers, then you will only get 10 combinations out of it. That's a fact.

This is the exact example you provided!

From YOUR post:

So your system looks great! My main question to ask if you can change is this. Here's my example. If I hold on to 1 in the first position, I get 100 results based off of starting with 1000 numbers. If I hold on to 1 in the first position and 2 in the second position I only come up with 10 results, when I really want 190 results. This looks like something I'm looking for. The main question is this: if I start with the full pool of 1000 numbers and hold on to numbers that bring me let's say 500 results. The next time I find new numbers to hold on to I want results from the first 500 results I had, not the full 1000 again. If this system does that then yes this is what I'm looking for.

Righy, that looks like what I'm asking for. A pool that starts with 1000 numbers and then erases combinations from the 1000 numbers that I do not have check marked. Then say I have like 570 results from the 1000, I can put those 570 results into the pool that held the 1000 numbers, work out another system to shave off more combinations, now I have 390 results. But I'm not sure yet exactly what AboveAverage23 wants the final version to do. I have a good idea. But I'm not going to guess and have to keep re-writing it.

What you see is just part of it. Still more work needs to be done.

RichyRich thanks for the response. Does this reduction tool have a pool of 1000 numbers to start with? I'd like to start with the 1000, select numbers I want to hold, then get the results, copy the results and then paste them into the pool that had the 1000 numbers in it, then do another system after that. It definitely looks nice

Hello. In the past someone here made a pick 3 reduction tool and the link to it is no longer active. I was curious if there was anyone out there who could possibly try to recreate this system? Basically what I'm looking for is something that looks like this.
